Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission to the curriculum leading to the degree of Master of Nursing, candidates shall:

1. comply with the General Regulations; and
2. comply with Regulations for Taught Postgraduate Curricula; and
3. be a Registered Nurse holding a Bachelor’s degree in nursing from this University, or from another university, or comparable institution accepted for this purpose; and
4. be eligible for active nursing registration with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong, or its equivalent; and
5. satisfy the examiners in a qualifying examination if required.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission to the Master of Philosophy Programme, candidates shall: 

1. comply with the General Regulations;
2. hold either:
   1. a Bachelor's degree with honours from this University; or
   2. another qualification of equivalent standard from this University or 
      from another university or  comparable institution accepted for this purpose;
3. hold any additional qualifications as required by the Faculty concerned; and
4. satisfy the examiners in a qualifying examination if required.

Note: A candidate who does not hold a Bachelor's degree with honours from this University or another qualification of equivalent standard may in exceptional circumstances be permitted to register for the degree on demonstrating adequate preparation for research studies at this level, and satisfying the examiners in a qualifying examination.

1. comply with the General Regulations;
2. hold a Bachelor's degree with honours and a research Master's degree or another
   qualification of equivalent standard from this University or from another university or
   comparable institution accepted for this purpose; 
3. hold any additional qualifications as may be required by the Faculty concerned, and 
4. satisfy the examiners in a qualifying examination if required.
