One of the most impactful experiences I have had at HKU was participating in an exchange programme at Mahidol University. This opportunity allowed me to explore healthcare settings in Thailand and gain a deeper understanding of their medical practices. I was particularly intrigued to learn about traditional Thai therapies, such as massage and herbal treatments, which provided me with valuable insights into holistic care. Although I faced challenges like language barriers and cultural differences, patience and open communication helped me overcome them. By collaborating with my peers and sharing experiences, we developed strong teamwork throughout the journey. This exchange broadened my perspective and strengthened my resolve to pursue my nursing goals. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity and the support that made it possible.
