School Retreat 2024

Academic, laboratory, and general office staff participated in a School retreat on August 13 that focused on team building and the sharing of experiences and reflections.

Ice-breaking activities and robot games that tested problem-solving skills encouraged numerous instances of empathy, assistance, support and collaboration. The Build the City activity, for instance, showcased communication and teamwork skills, along with a “can-do” attitude. There was strong commitment all around to enhance team building and learn from each other.

Valuable insights and better understanding were important takeaways from the event, which not only featured laugh-filled activities, but also fostered constructive relations among staff members of different functional teams. The retreat thus achieved its goal of nurturing cohesion and coordination within the School.
