Faculty Academic Induction Day 2024/25

Nursing freshmen joined other HKUMed students in the HKUMed Faculty Academic Induction Day, held on August 16 in the Grand Hall of the Centennial Campus. The students were welcomed by the Dean, the Programme leadership team, senior leaders from the HKUMed Student Wellness & Engagement team, and HKU’s Equal Opportunity Unit and Centre of Development and Resources for Students.

Nursing students then proceeded to meet with their teachers, senior students and other fellow freshmen at the breakout sessions. The teachers introduced students to academic activities, while senior students shared their campus life experiences and tips on balancing academic studies and extra-curricular activities – providing students with valuable information as they take their first step towards acquiring the professional nursing skills and necessary knowledge for their future careers.
