Orientation Day

The 2024 Programme Orientation for Bachelor of Nursing students was held on September 2 at our Sassoon Road campus. Nursing freshmen were welcomed by School Director, Professor Chia-Chin Lin, introduced to the Programme, Academic Staff, Clinical Education and Practicum, and Life Enrichment Learning course, and heard from HKUMed’s Student Wellness and Engagement team about the counselling and academic advising services available to them. Students then engaged in an interactive session with Nursing Professors and Lecturers to learn more about the pursuits of academic advancement and professionalism.

The orientation day was part of the School's commitment to assist freshmen students in navigating their study journey. The aim is to encourage students to embrace the opportunities and challenges that lay ahead with enthusiasm and open-mindedness.
