HKU Information Day 2024

The HKU Information Day for Undergraduate Admissions, held on October 26, featured three admissions talks related to nursing that were fully attended. Dr Veronica Lam Suk-fun, Programme Director of Bachelor of Nursing (Full-time) and Bachelor of Nursing (Full-time) Advanced Leadership Track, led talks on both programmes. The Dean of Medicine, Professor Lau Chak-sing, also came along to welcome the participants. Our current students were also on hand to share their university journey and provide valuable first-hand perspectives.

The participating students and parents had plenty of opportunities to ask questions about admission requirements, programme highlights and teaching features. In conversation with our professors, lecturers and nursing students, they also gained deeper knowledge about Life Enrichment Learning, clinical practicums, career prospects, academic pursuits, and campus life.

Participants were also given a tour of simulated wards, demonstrations of various nursing skills, and an opportunity for hands-on experience of nursing techniques. These activities allowed participants to further understand clinical nursing applications and practices. The School would like to sincerely thank all participants for their support and contributions.
