Faculty Academic Induction Day 2025/26

The School was pleased to take part in the HKUMed Faculty Academic Induction Day for the academic year 2025/2026. Held on August 18 at the Grand Hall in the Centennial Campus, our freshmen were warmly welcomed by the Dean of Medicine, Professor Chak-sing Lau, and fellow teachers from the Faculty, marking the official start of their university journey.

Breakout sessions provided participants with opportunities to dive deeper into their majors and meet their teachers, senior students, and fellow freshmen. The teachers introduced the nursing curriculum framework, while senior students shared their experiences of campus life and learning.

The School wishes all our freshmen the very best in staying true to their aspirations, embracing the spirit of nursing, exploring the diverse learning opportunities that lie ahead, and embarking on a fulfilling and unforgettable journey at HKU.
