U21 Health Sciences Group 2025 Annual Meeting

The Dean of Medicine, Professor Chak-sing Lau, led an HKUMed team to attend the U21 Health Sciences Group 2025 Annual Meeting at McMaster University in August, which was themed “Aging Across The Lifespan”. Experts from various specialties discussed this important topic, while Professor Chia-Chin Lin, Director of HKU School of Nursing, spoke at a Plenary session on the topic “Innovative Pedagogies in Dementia Education” and participated in the Nursing & Midwifery Group meeting to explore collaborations among different institutions.

HKUMed will hold the U21 Health Sciences Group 2026 Annual Meeting in November, on the theme “Adaptive Intelligence: Reshaping Health Education and Practice in a Culturally Diverse World”. We look forward to welcoming all delegates to our university!
