HKU Information Day 2025 for Undergraduate Admissions

The School conducted three well-attended admissions talks for students and parents at the HKU Undergraduate Admissions Information Day on October 25, which covered the Bachelor of Nursing (Full-time) (JS6468) and the Bachelor of Nursing (Full-time) Advanced Leadership Track (JS6418).

Professor Edmond Choi Pui-hang, who is Co-Director of both programmes, delivered the talks, while the Dean of Medicine, Professor Chak-sing Lau, welcomed participants alongside an outstanding alumnus and current student, who enriched the session with reflections on their experiences here.

The talks provided deeper insights into admission requirements, programme highlights, and teaching features, and gave students and parents opportunities to ask questions and engage with faculty members and nursing students on such topics as Life Enrichment Learning, clinical practicum, career prospects, academic pursuits, and HKU campus life.

Participants were also brought to our state-of-the-art simulation wards, observed demonstrations of various nursing skills, and engaged in hands-on nursing techniques, to further their understanding of clinical nursing applications and practices.
