30^th Anniversary Celebration

The School’s 30^th Anniversary Celebration Dinner was held alongside the 15^th HKINF cum  PHA 2025 Forum Dinner, marking the grand finale of the year-long anniversary celebrations.

Esteemed guests from both local and regional communities, clinical and university partners, as well as our dedicated staff members, joined the celebratory dinner on October 31 to commemorate our significant milestone.

The School was honoured to have the dinner officiated by Professor Max Shen, Vice-President and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research) of HKU, Professor Chak-sing Lau, Vice-President and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Health) (Interim) and Dean of Medicine, Professor Sophia Chan Siu-chee, Senior Advisor of the President’s Office and Director of HKU Primary Health Care Academy, Professor Agnes Tiwari, Chairman of the Nursing Council of Hong Kong and the School’s Director Professor Chia-Chin Lin.

A video was also shown on our 30^th anniversary theme, “Three Decades of Nursing Leadership: Excellence • Momentum • Collegiality”, reflecting the core values that have guided us, including:

• Excellence, to drive our world-class education and impactful research.

• Momentum, to propel our pursuit of forward-thinking solutions, such as cross-disciplinary innovative healthcare, to meet future needs.

• Collegiality, to foster collaboration with clinical partners and global scholars, uniting us in sharing knowledge and inspiring change.

The School will continue to advance nursing education, research and clinical leadership both regionally and globally, providing excellent education and opportunities to our students to become nursing leaders who shape the world for the better.
