University of Navarra, Spain

Ten HKU students from Years 1 – 4 (Academic Year 2019/2020) participated in the online Nursing Summer School organised during June 29 – July 1 by the University of Navarra. Renowned speakers lectured on a wide spectrum of topics, such as the nurse-patient relationship in a person-centered model; promoting healthy lifestyles in children; current events related to global health; the role of Advanced Practice Nursing and the health system in the US; moral distress among nurses and nursing students; families filling deficiencies in social and health services networks; and what it takes to become an international nurse.

More than 60 students from eight international universities joined this fruitful exchange programme, They were University of Stirling, Indiana University, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, The University of Illinois, Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome , Birmingham City University, The Catholic University of America and The University of Hong Kong.
