School Highlights

As part of the School’s mission to provide diversified and holistic nursing education we organised a summer programme via Zoom aimed at secondary schools

The School participated in the Centre for Sports and Exercise & University Health Service’s 5K Fun Run and Walk on October 27, 2020. The event aimed to bring together members of the HKU community to stay active

The “HKU Virtual Information Day for Undergraduate Admissions 2020” was held on October 31, 2020 during which two online admissions talks were given by Dr Janet Wong and Ms Claudia Chan

A simulation lecture was conducted on November 7, 2020 for over 150 students, to give them a taste of university teaching and learning

A virtual plenary lecture titled “From SARS 2003 to COVID 2019” was delivered by Professor Kwok-Yung Yuen, HKU Chair Professor of Infectious Diseases and Programme Director of the Certificate in Infection Control Course

The 10^th Hong Kong International Nursing Forum cum 3^rd Sigma Asia Region Conference was held virtually online for the first time and attracted more than 1,500 participants

HKU School of Nursing PhD students, Ms Lubecca Zhao and Ms Naomi Takemura won the Outstanding Presentation Award and Peers’ Choice Presentation Award, respectively
