Dr Alina Ng Yee-man
Lecturer
It is my honour to rejoin the HKU School of Nursing. My career spans clinical, teaching, and research domains, with previous clinical expertise in cancer care, hospice, and palliative care. Having transitioned to an academic career, I firmly believe that education should provide inspiration to students and help them to develop compassion and become competent practitioners, who are well-prepared to address the complexities of healthcare. My career goal is to engage nursing students in active learning experiences to foster both academic and personal growth. I aspire to be remembered as a kind and supportive teacher, dedicated to fostering the next generation of nurses.
Dr Anfernee Tse Kai-wing

It is my genuine pleasure to join the School of Nursing at HKU as a Lecturer. I hold a PhD in biomedical sciences, along with an MSc in Public Health and Nutrition. With over a decade of teaching experience in life sciences, I have covered subjects such as Biochemistry, Anatomy & Physiology, Pathophysiology, Nutrition, and Microbiology at various institutions. Over the years, I have had numerous opportunities to deliver life science education to both the public and nursing students. These experiences refined my skills and fuelled my passion for becoming a life science educator. I look forward to collaborating with my fantastic colleagues to help shape the next generation and support students in deepening their understanding of life sciences in a fulfilling way. Let’s explore the wonders of life sciences together!
Mr Lau Wai-pan

It is an honour to join the School of Nursing at The University of Hong Kong as an Assistant Lecturer. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree, I pursued a Master’s degree at HKU, which further deepened my nursing expertise and broadened my horizons. I gained valuable working experience in the local public healthcare sector, with my background in medical and intensive care nursing. In the transition from the clinical to academic environment, I hope to build meaningful connections with students so as to guide and inspire them through their learning journey. I am passionate to nurture the next generation of nursing professionals and genuinely look forward to contributing to the Hong Kong healthcare sector together with the School.
