SIM Wars 2025

The Ares Leung Clinical Skills Competition 2025 adopted the theme “SIM Wars in the AI Era 2025”, to provide HKU Nursing and Medicine students with an unforgettable interprofessional experience. At our ASPiH-accredited Simulation Centre, students tackled real-life clinical challenges, collaborated across disciplines, and used Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) assistants to boost their clinical decisions.

Nursing students displayed qualities ideal for their future careers – their passion, resilience, and teamwork shone through every scenario. They also demonstrated their readiness to prepare as future leaders of healthcare through their adaptability and willingness to embrace new technology. The exercise is part of the School and Faculty’s commitment to ensure the next generation of healthcare professionals are ready to innovate, collaborate, and thrive in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment.
