Academic Excellence Recognition Ceremony 2025

An Academic Excellence Recognition Ceremony to honour Nursing undergraduate students who had outstanding achievements in the 2023/24 academic year was held on May 20.

The Entrance Scholarship in Nursing and the Academic Elite Scholarship in Nursing, as well as a special commemorative pin, were presented by the School of Nursing’s Director, Professor Chia-Chin Lin.

The Entrance Scholarship in Nursing is awarded to HKDSE students admitted to BNurs (Full-time) and BNurs-ALT with a score of ≥28 in their best five subjects, while students with a score of ≥31 in their best five receive both the Entrance Scholarship in Nursing and Academic Elite Scholarship in Nursing. Continued academic excellence in years 2-5 qualifies students for the Academic Elite Scholarship in Nursing.

Congratulations were extended to all awardees as well as best wishes for their continued success in academia and beyond.
