Student Support and WellnessEmpowering Students to Thrive and SucceedStudent well-being is vital for academic success and personal growth, especially for nursing students as they navigate the transition to adulthood. To support this journey, our Student Affairs and Support team has developed initiatives like the Your Coach and Peer Buddies programmes, which pair first-year students with teacher mentors and senior peers for guidance and peer-support beyond academics. As our students progress, particularly in the highpressure environments of clinical practice, we focus on stress management and navigating uncertainty. To help students prepare for the challenges and opportunities ahead, we invite School of Nursing alumni to share their real-world experiences and clinical insights with students at informal %u201cbrown bag%u201d sessions. These interactions provide students with insights into their future careers, as well as valuable peer-assisted clinical learning and networking opportunities. We appreciate our esteemed nursing colleagues, all of whom play a crucial role in maintaining student wellness by offering personalised support and fostering a nurturing environment. By prioritising student well-being and community building, we aim to inspire well-rounded individuals ready to positively impact our society.Undergraduate Research Fellowship ProgrammeNurturing the Next Generation of Nursing Researchers and ScholarsThe Undergraduate Research Fellowship Programme (URFP) aims to enhance students%u2019 learning experiences by providing opportunities to conduct research under the mentorship of accomplished academics.
