The world is facing an irreversible wave of population aging. According to the United Nations World Social Report 2023, the growth rate of the population aged 65 and above has reached a historical peak, and this demographic is projected to account for over 16% of the global population by 2050. In response to the increasingly severe challenges posed by population aging, it is imperative to explore new ideas and solutions, promote proactive health development, and strengthen nursing leadership in transforming health systems - thereby contributing to a better and more harmonious global health future.
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the School of Nursing, The University of Hong Kong, the School of Nursing at The University of Hong Kong and the Xiangya School of Nursing at Central South University, in collaboration with the Hong Kong Ta Kung Wen Wei Media Group, will jointly host the 15th Hong Kong International Nursing Forum cum International Forum on Proactive Health and Ageing.
