It is an extraordinary journey studying in HKU Nursing.
Other than being a student, it was my honour to share my
experience as a liver donor and helped promote the Organ
Donation Campaign at the School. I hope that can help foster
a better organ donation culture from the School to society.
Ms Law Ka-man
Bachelor of Nursing (Full-time) 2018
After being promoted to Nurse Consultant in a trial programme,
I discovered my clinical expertise alone was insufficient to fulfil
the expected role. Thanks to the School of Nursing for facilitating
my further knowledge advancement. It acts as a foundation for my
career progression to the General Manager (Nursing).
Dr Elaine Leung Lai-yee
Doctor of Nursing 2016
While I started the Doctor in Nursing programme in 2009, I felt it was
challenging with a certain degree of stress because of the many presentations
and assignments. However, my supervisor Professor Agnes Tiwari kept on
providing unfailing support and advice during my studies. Now, I am PROUD
to be a graduate here.
Dr Ng Sau-loi
Doctor of Nursing 2014
"It was the best of times; it was the worst of times."
I graduated in the year of SARS.
It was the time when we all put on masks, and our exchange
tour to Vancouver was cancelled. Yet, we began our new page
of life as nursing professionals, full of hopes and passion.

Master of Nursing 2009
The school has provided various exchange programmes
with all-round support for us to widen our world views.
Last year, I participated the exchange programme to National
University of Singapore. I attended the tutorials and shared
thoughts on learning, nursing care as well as culture with
the local students. Moreover, the visits to the local hospitals
and community centres gave me insights into the healthcare
systems of Singapore. It was definitely a fruitful summer
exchange which was full of memorable moments.
