We emphasise the importance of continuing education and professional development and foster excellence through our innovative teaching pedagogies, research opportunities and advanced training workshops and courses.We believe it is essential for nurses to advance and maintain their expertise in clinical nursing practice and support clinical partners in Hong Kong hospitals by providing tailored evidence-based practice workshops. The School also provides well-structured, evidence-based clinical education tailored for practicing nurses, clinical mentors and nurse educators in Hong Kong and the region.For example, the School%u2019s Certificate in Infection Control course equips individuals from different healthcare settings to bolster infectious disease prevention and strengthen infectious disease preparedness. Our Mentoring Workshop for Clinical Mentors offers clinical staff from Hong Kong hospitals opportunities to learn strategies for more effective mentoring. In China, through our collaboration with HKUShenzhen Hospital, the School offers neonatal ICU nurses opportunities for professional development and improving health outcomes. As an acknowledged leader in simulation-based education, our simulation workshops equip nurse educators with practical skills in using simulationbased teaching and share ways to better integrate technology and equipment into learning.
