Healthcare Education and Simulation WorkshopBridging Theory and Practice through SimulationThe Healthcare Education and Simulation Workshop, organised by the School of Nursing since 2019, has become a cornerstone event in advancing simulationbased education, where the School leads in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. Our 2024 workshop, themed %u201cBest Practices, Innovation, and Debriefing in Simulation-based Education%u201d, underscored our focus on evidencebased practices and innovative pedagogies. During the workshop, our Faculty members shared profound insights on enhancing clinical competence and bridging the clinical transition gap through experiential learning models. Participants learned best practices in simulationbased education and also from each other%u2019s experiences, building their capacity in designing highfidelity scenarios and GenAI-enhanced simulation. By facilitating knowledge exchange and fostering a community of practice among educators, the workshop aimed to improve patient safety and clinical outcomes.29
