2026 HKU Nursing Student Taster Sessions for JUPAS Candidates

The HKU School of Nursing held two Student Taster Sessions on 25 June, giving JUPAS candidates first-hand insight into our curriculum, innovative teaching and diverse learning modes. The sessions welcomed over 180 participants from 120 secondary schools, reflecting an enthusiastic response.

At the Technology-Enriched Learning Mezzanine (Techmezz), students were introduced to anatomy and physiology, and the interpretation of electrocardiogram (ECG) via virtual reality (VR). They also experienced clinical skills such as intravenous injection and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and learned about the application of cardiac simulator.

Student ambassadors shared their HKU Nursing learning experiences and university life, and answered participants’ questions about the programme and campus life.

We were pleased to see students actively engaged throughout the sessions and experiencing HKU Nursing’s innovative, technology-enriched and inspiring learning environment.
