It has been an honour for us to announce that the 27th East Asian Forum of Nursing Scholars (EAFONS) with the theme "Generating Impact Through Doctoral Nursing Education" organised by School of Nursing of The University of Hong Kong (HKU) was successfully held.  This two-day conference attracted over 1,400 overseas and local delegates.  The event opening was kicked off by piper and lion dance performance followed by opening remarks by Professor Vivian Lin, Acting Dean, LKS Faculty of Medicine, HKU, Professor Mari Ikeda, Chair of EAFONS and Professor Chia-Chin Lin, Director and Professor, School of Nursing, HKU.  We would like to send our sincere gratitude and appreciation to our keynote speakers, Professor Azita Emami, Dean, Linda Koch Lorimer Professor of Nursing, Yale School of Nursing, Yale University and Professor Hugh McKenna, Professor of Nursing, School of Nursing, Ulster University for sharing their insights and expertise.  Invited speakers and moderators contributed their valuable knowledge and inspiration in the conference.  They shared their understanding of various topics and issues related to nursing education, research, and clinical practice in the East Asian region and beyond.  Oral and poster presenters also took this opportunity to showcase their research findings.  Delegates found this conference fruitful and were pleased to participate in this lively and interactive platform for learning and networking.  At the closing ceremony, it was announced that the next EAFONS 2025 will be held in South Korea.
