30th Anniversary Celebration Past Event
The 15th HKINF cum PHA 2025 Forum Dinner and HKU School of Nursing 30th Anniversary Celebration (Celebration Dinner) was successfully held on October 31, 2025.
The event, in conjunction with the 15th Hong Kong International Nursing Forum (HKINF) cum International Forum on Proactive Health and Ageing (PHA) held on October 31 and November 1, 2025, marked the grand finale of the year-long 30th anniversary celebration of the HKU School of Nursing.
It was with immense privilege that we gathered with esteemed guests from both local and regional communities, clinical and university partners, as well as our dedicated staff members, to commemorate an extraordinary milestone.
We were honoured to have Professor Max Shen, Vice-President and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research) of HKU, Professor CS Lau, Vice-President and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Health) (Interim) and Dean of Medicine of HKU, Professor Sophia Chan, Senior Advisor of the President’s Office and Director of HKU Primary Health Care Academy of HKU, Professor Agnes Tiwari, Chairman of the Nursing Council of Hong Kong and Professor Chia-Chin Lin, Director of HKU School of Nursing, to officiate the event.
A video summarising our 30th anniversary theme “Three Decades of Nursing Leadership: Excellence • Momentum • Collegiality” reflected our core values that have guided us:

- Collegiality fosters collaboration with clinical partners and global scholars, uniting us to share knowledge and inspire change.
The School will continue to advance nursing education, research and clinical leadership both regionally and globally, providing excellent education and opportunities to our students to become nursing leaders who shape the world for the better.
