On September 2, 2021, the School organised a COVID-19 Vaccination and Myths Debunking Webinar for near 300 nursing students and nursing staff. Specialist in Clinical Microbiology and Infection, Dr David Christopher Lung and Mr Chan Wai-kun, a senior nurse working in a community vaccination centre for the HKSAR Government’s COVID-19 Vaccination Programme, explained the science of vaccine and debunked the myths and prepared the nursing staff and students to educate the public with evidence-based knowledge and information.  The webinar was well received by the participants, whom also actively participated in the Q&A session.
