The 11th Grace Tien Lecture was held on December 17, 2018 in conjunction with the 8th Hong Kong International Nursing Forum cum 2018 International Council on Women’s Health Issues Congress.  The Grace Tien Lecture distinguished speaker, Professor Dame Nicky Cullum, Professor of Nursing and Head, Division of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work, The University of Manchester, delivered a lecture entitled "Developing and Delivering Programmes of Useful and Usable Research: Reflections from Wound Care.

Since 2004, the School has been organising the Grace Tien Lecture annually with the generous sponsorship from the family of the late Mrs. Grace Tien.  Distinguished speakers and renowned scholars are invited to deliver at the named lecture to strengthen the knowledge exchange among nursing practitioners and academics.
