Events

The HKU Undergraduate Admissions Information Day was successfully convened on October 25.  We sincerely thank all attendees for their participation in this significant annual event.

The three admissions talks on Bachelor of Nursing (Full-time) (JS6468) and the Bachelor of Nursing (Full-time) Advanced Leadership Track (JS6418) delivered by Professor Edmond Choi, Co-Director of Bachelor of Nursing (Full-time) and Bachelor of Nursing (Full-time) Advanced Leadership Track Programme, were well attended.  We were honoured to have Professor Chak-sing Lau, Dean of Medicine, extend his support by welcoming our participants at the admissions talk.  In addition, insights shared by our outstanding alumnus and current student further enriched the session with diverse perspectives.

During the admissions consultation, both students and parents actively engaged by asking questions,  gaining deeper insights into admission requirements, programme highlights, and teaching features.  Through interactions with our faculty members and nursing students, participants developed a thorough understanding of Life Enrichment Learning, clinical practicum, career prospects of the programme, academic pursuits, and HKU campus life.

Participants were also excited to explore state-of-the-art simulation wards, observe demonstrations of various nursing skills, and engage in hands-on experience with nursing techniques. These activities allowed participants to further understand the clinical nursing applications and practices.

The School sincerely appreciates everyone’s support and warmly welcomes prospective students to join HKU Nursing in the near future.
