Events

A retreat was organised exclusively for our colleagues on August 13.  Colleagues from the academic, laboratory and general office participated with great enthusiasm.  From the ice-breaking activities that brought us closer to the robot games that tested our problem-solving skills, we witnessed numerous instances of empathy, assistance, support and collaboration. The Build the City activity, in particular, showcased our SON communication and teamwork skills, along with a “can-do” attitude. We were impressed by the active participation of everyone involved and the teamwork among groups to achieve the ultimate goal in the team-building exercise.  We gained valuable insights and had a fruitful takeaway from the event.  The wonderful event was filled with laughter, which not only boosted the team spirit but also enhanced constructive relations among staff members of different functional teams.  The retreat fostered greater cohesion and coordination within our School.  It has been rewarding to hear positive feedback from our colleagues.
