- Date
- 20 May 2026
The School is delighted to extend its warmest congratulations to the Class of 2026, graduating from the Bachelor of Nursing [BNurs (Full-time)], Bachelor of Nursing – Advanced Leadership Track [BNurs-ALT], and Master of Science in Nursing [MSc(Nurs)] programmes.
The Pinning Ceremony was a meaningful and memorable occasion, symbolising graduates’ dedication to the nursing profession, alongside distinguished guests, faculty members, families, and friends, whose presence enriched the event. The ceremony commenced with an inspiring address by Professor Chak-Sing Lau, Vice-President and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Health) (Interim) and Dean of Medicine at The University of Hong Kong, followed by welcoming remarks delivered by Professor Chia-Chin Lin, School Director.
During the ceremony, each graduate received a nursing pin from our honourable guests – the nursing leaders and our programme leaders on stage. The pin symbolised their dedication and commitment to the nursing profession. Dr Danny Tong, Chief Manager (Nursing) / Chief Nurse Executive of the Hospital Authority, then led the graduates in the recitation of the Nightingale Pledge, marking their readiness to embark on the next chapter of their professional journey.
The ceremony concluded with votes of thanks delivered by student representatives from the MSc(Nurs) and BNurs programmes on behalf of their respective graduating classes. The School looks forward with great anticipation to the positive impact and valuable contributions the Class of 2026 will make to the healthcare community.
Congratulations once again to the Class of 2026!
