Nursing and MBBS students had a valuable interprofessional simulation-based experience at SIMWARS 2026.  Hosted by the Department of Emergency Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine and School of Nursing, The University of Hong Kong, at our ASPiH-accredited Nursing Clinical Skills Laboratory and Simulation Training Centre, students engaged in real-life clinical challenges that fostered cross-disciplinary collaboration, teamwork, clinical reasoning, and integrated patient care, embodying the spirit of Interprofessional Education (IPE).

This experience underscores the importance of interprofessional and interdisciplinary training in real-world healthcare where effective patient care relies on seamless collaboration and communication across professions.

We are proud of our students, who demonstrated passion, resilience, and strong teamwork.  They are well equipped with collaborative and communication skills essential for interdisciplinary practice.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to our adjudicators, standardised patients, and all contributors for their invaluable contributions.

Collectively, we are cultivating the next generation of healthcare professionals who are prepared to excel in an increasingly integrated and changing healthcare landscape.
