We are pleased to share that a 30-hour Teacher Profession Development Course 2024 was successfully concluded.  This comprehensive training course consisted of 10 modules, with the content tailored for Assistant Lecturers, aimed to equip them with techniques and pedagogies essential to effectively conduct skill laboratory teaching and clinical supervision duties, thereby enhancing student learning and benefitting the nursing students.  Our teachers exhibited to stay updated on their professionalism in Teaching and Learning development.  They eagerly prioritised their schedules to participate in these training opportunities, showed their enthusiasm during the course through active engagement in sharing, learning, practice and interactive discussions.  We are proud to have a team of teachers who consistently strive for excellence, ensuring the implementation of effective teaching strategies in laboratory teaching and clinical supervision by evidence-based approach, familiarising with simulation-based education, and understanding possible psychological challenges among students.  This commitment to professional development results in improved student management and exposure to various pedagogies to ensure our nursing students can benefit from high-quality teaching.
