Dr Chia-Jou (Elisa) Lin is a Research Assistant Professor at the School of Nursing of the University of Hong Kong. She is a registered nurse with extensive clinical experience in neurosurgical wards and neurological intensive care units.
Dr Lin received her PhD in Nursing from Taipei Medical University and completed visiting scholar training at the Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing, The Pennsylvania State University. Her research interests include delirium, sleep and circadian rhythms, traumatic brain injury recovery, cognitive frailty, and healthy ageing.
Her research focuses on improving delirium care across prevention, detection, management, and recovery, with particular interests in non-pharmacological interventions and cognitive outcomes in older adults. She is a member of the American Delirium Society and is committed to advancing evidence-based delirium care across clinical and community settings.
