Theme: Hand in Hand Creating Tomorrow: Nursing Practice, Education and Research
The 7th Hong Kong International Nursing Forum was successfully held on December 18 – 19, 2017. This year’s Forum was one of the celebratory events of the Medical Faculty’s 130 Years of Medicine in Hong Kong. Over 500 delegates from 14 countries/regions and a record high of 36 co-organisers attended and supported this scientific forum. We received excellent feedback on the quality of the presentations and the success of the Forum. The Forum has brought together scholars and professionals from different countries and cultures to share their experiences and served as a very useful platform for dialogues and exchanges between local nursing professionals and our counterparts around the world. We were honored to have Professor Sophia Chan, Secretary of Food and Health of the Food and Health Bureau, to deliver the Opening Remarks at the Opening Ceremony. Three Post-Forum Events, namely, visit to Gleneagles Hong Kong Hospital, Jockey Club Home for Hospice and the Nursing Clinical Skills Laboratory and Simulation Training Centre of the School of Nursing were arranged on December 19 and were well received by participants.
