On 20 May, HKU School of Nursing held an Academic Excellence Recognition Ceremony to honor undergraduate students who have outstanding achievements during the 2023/24 academic year.

We were delighted to have Professor Chia-Chin Lin, Director of HKU School of Nursing, present two scholarship awards — namely Entrance Scholarship in Nursing and Academic Elite Scholarship in Nursing, and a special commemorative pin to the awardees.

The Entrance Scholarship in Nursing is awarded to HKDSE students admitted to BNurs (Full-time) and BNurs-ALT with a score of ≥28 (Best 5). Students with a score of ≥31 (Best 5) receive both the Entrance Scholarship in Nursing and Academic Elite Scholarship in Nursing, covering the first year's full tuition. Continued academic excellence in years 2-5 qualifies students for the Academic Elite Scholarship in Nursing.

The ceremony was filled with pride and joy as the scholarship recipients celebrated with their families. Congratulations to all awardees! we look forward to seeing your continued success in academics and beyond!
