The School organised a two-day Healthcare Education and Simulation Workshop on August 5 and 6 with the aim to provide knowledge and skills on the latest healthcare and simulation-based learning and education; and to provide a platform for participants to share knowledge and exchange ideas on simulation-based learning and healthcare education.

The Workshop was well received by the audience and attracted around 70 participants each day.  Not only local healthcare practitioners and educators, but also nursing educators from Mainland China and overseas, e.g. Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia and Philippines, took this opportunity to discuss the development of simulation; the use of interprofessional simulation and integrated scenarios; the future of simulation based education in healthcare; the incorporation of simulation into large classroom setting and simulation debriefing, etc.
