Thanks to the tremendous support of all teachers, student helpers and administrative colleagues for the “HKU Information Day for Undergraduate 2018” held successfully on November 3, 2018, we are delighted to receive an overwhelming number of visitors, including secondary school students, teachers, parents and the public, throughout the day to introduce our revamped BNurs programme with nursing skills demonstration, career prospect of nursing profession, as well as the wide range of support services and teaching facilities provided to our students.

In particular, we were very proud and excited to present the advanced Simulated Training Centre and Nursing Clinical Skills Laboratories in the Pauline Chan Building to our visitors. They were amazed by the sophisticated and simulated clinical environment with the use of computerised simulators, robots, VR CAVE (Virtual Reality Cave Automatic Virtual Environment), 3D graphics and 360-degree videos. These state-of-the-art teaching facilities have already been adopted to two BNurs courses to enhance the learning experience of our students on holistic patient care and clinical decision making.
