JUPAS Information Week - Clinical Skills Taster Workshop Past Event
Subsequent to the JUPAS Information Week – School of Nursing at HKUMed held on May 24, 2022, the School organised a “Clinical Skills Taster Workshop” virtually during the JUPAS Information Week on May 27, 2022, for more than 130 secondary school students.
Ms Cherry Sun Ka-yan, Assistant Lecturer, conducted a lecture on wound management where she provided an overview of different kinds of wounds, dressing and care management.
Students, who had received the wound dressing pack for this lecture, immediately have their practical session on what they have learnt on essential wound management under the teacher’s guidance.
The Workshop was well-received by the participants, who were enthusiastic about the hands-on experience and provided positive feedback toward the lecture.
