Event details

Patient safety is a top priority in healthcare settings.  For instance, how patients are protected from errors, injuries, accidents or infections and what measures and best practices should be in place are key learning components for our nursing students.  In view of this, a seminar on “Patient’s Safety in Clinical Practice” was organised for the Year 3 and Year 4 students on April 8, 2019.

The School is honoured to have Dr Danny Tong, Senior Manager (Nursing), Nursing Services Department, Hospital Authority to be the guest speaker for this seminar, who shared his wisdoms and expertise on the patient’s safety measures adopted in public hospitals in Hong Kong with attending students and teachers.

Audiences found this seminar inspirational with noteworthy insights on providing high quality and safe nursing care to patients.
